a base for a 20' Christmas

Build Trunk |
|
In the picture to the left you will need to make 12 of these. Cut 12 lenghts of 3/4" x 2' pieces of schedule 40 pvc pipe. These are to support all your rings.
Snap 4 of them on to the sides left on the ocxtagon form.
Now take the other octagon form you made earlier and snap it on to the top. As seen in picture. |

Now take four of your 2' supports and place them at the end of your cross supports.
Next take your last four 45" cross supports and snap one end on the octagon form and snap the other into the 2' support. Continue this until you have all 4 snapped in place.

| Take the other 3 pieces of gray 3/4" pvc and make a complete circle. Lay it over the top of the base and start snapping it on to all four cross supports. | |
Add Ring Supports |
|
| Now we want to take the last four 2' supports and place them in the center of each pie section. These support have two purposes. First, they keep the ring from pulling up to far when you are adding and pulling your light strings tight. Second that add more support, keeping your base from foldomg over. | |
Add Last Trunk Ring |

| The last step is to add you last trunk ring. | |
